”...ruthlessly emotive to the point it should come with a warning label.” – The Line of Best Fit
Siv’s music is beautifully mellow, much like diary-entries – filled with unfiltered thoughts and reflections. With strong references to Laura Marling and Ane Brun, listening to her music is like being a fly on the wall while she sings you her secrets. Her most recent batch of songs were created in her former 6×7 “bed with a door” room in Brooklyn, NY. The record has since it’s release been very well received in the press, with praise from several national and international publications, including Norways biggest newspaper, VG.
A captivating live performer, Siv has had the honor of supporting several renowned artists, including Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Damien Jurado, Highasakite and SOAK. This fall sees her supporting Bear’s Den on their dates across Scandinavia, Holland and Belgium.
After being praised by many renowned music-blogs, including Earmilk, Paste Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit, The 405 and Clash Magazine, receiving airplay on several internationally renowned radio stations, including the UK’s BBC 6 Music and XFM, and with over 6.000.000 streams on Spotify alone, this young Norwegian is steadily making waves in the singer-songwriter world.
