HUNTAR has started a love affair with music fans around the world. The 22 year-old vocalist and producer from South London counts Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart, Alice Levine and Clara Amfo among his supporters, with BBC Radio 1 inviting him to perform on their BBC Introducing Stage at Big Weekend for his first ever live performance in 2015. Further international support has come in the form of Jaden Smith and Zane Lowe – who made ‘4AM’ his World Record on Beats 1 – and Jason Kramer on KCRW. With word spreading rapidly and a growing online fanbase, his debut headline show at London’s Electrowerkz sold out in 10 days.
Having featured on Majestic Casual and The Vibe Guide, HUNTAR’s previous releases ‘4AM’, ‘Blindspot’ and ‘SK1N’ have now surpassed 7m streams and seen him become a regular on the Spotify viral charts with additions on Alternative R&B, The Indie Mix and Chill Vibes amongst many others. Support has also been flooding in from some of YouTube’s biggest influencers Alfie Deyes (PointlessBlog) and Sean OC. Latest single ‘Anyway’ is part of the prestigious FIFA ’17 soundtrack and continues to build his international following.
